Recycled Yard Art

I love reusing and recycling. Today's post is a tutorial on making yard art from old plates, dishes, candle holders and copper pipes. All you need is epoxy and your imagination.
Decide how you want to stack the plates and glassware. It's a good idea to make sure the piece you will have attach to the pipe has a flat back so the pipe has a good surface to adhere to.
I like mine to look like flowers.
Follow the directions on the epoxy and adhere the plate and glassware together.
Let set.
Adhere the copper pipe to the back of the plate, you could tape it with painters tape to make sure it doesn't roll around.
Once it has set put it in your yard and enjoy!
When the sun shines through it has a magical effect. The copper will form a lovely patina as it weathers.

  1. Is it possible to use PVC or a wood dowel instead of copper pipe?

  2. Yes! Just check that the adhesive you use will work on plastic or wood. I think epoxy works on plastic for sure!
